Interim tier (beta) bot online

We've launched an interim tier bot, although it's still in beta, with the following specifications:

  • Minimum 25 wins
  • No TSR requirement
  • AP mode

The game is titled "DotaCash AP Interim Tier #X", and you can see the current name from the Current Games tab on the main website. If you don't have the requisite number of wins, it will say that the lobby is full when you attempt to join.

We're planning some additions including more modes, a minimum TSR, and shuffling/balancing for the future.

If there are any issues (like if you can't join even though you have 25 or more wins), please post in the technical support section.

Matchmaking system test happening NOW!

We're testing a new matchmaking system on the bots at the moment. The gamename is of the form, "DotACash All Modes #X", and can be found on the gamelist or from DCClient.

When you join the game, it'll spoof check you and make sure you have the map, and then ask you to enter your desired mode. Type "all' if you want to accept any mode. Then, you'll be in the queue, so just sit back, be patient, and wait for a game to start. Once there's around 20 players in a queue for a single mode, a game should be hosted. Note that the system will try to pair you with players with nearby scores, so you might have to wait longer if you're at an extreme score.

Autohost bots updated to 6.78b

The autohost bots have been updated to 6.78b.
